life in the slums

My Life In the Slums
I live in carcass, in Venezuela. I guess you could call where I live a neighborhood, everyone lives in tents very close together and in wake up to the smell of garbage, but I’m accustom to it so it doesn’t bother me. You could pretty much say I live in a slum. La Vega that is where I live and I have some friends but I don’t have a lot cause sometimes when I get to close to them they will die from dieses. I Share my room with my 3 sisters and 2 brothers, my mum and dad put up a sheet in our tent to separate our room to theirs.

Today was a good day my family and I got to eat a bowl of rice to share and some bread, after some lunch my friends and I went sliding around some mud, it was a lot of fun. Some people might find this place a dump, and it might stink but, nothings changing, where not going anywhere and this is my home so I love it, it’s special to me. If I were to get anything I would get a toilet, but for now I just have to go in whatever bush or trash mountain I can find.

If I had a chance a coupe things I would want to be able to read, to write, and to go to school. I love to help people out so when I grow up I want to be able to be a doctor. That’s my dream.

These are what some slums look like :
